Huge TNS has good news regarding the repairs to the SAT-3 and WACs cables.
As previously communicated, the repairs to the WACs and SAT-3 cables, which suffered a break on August 6th due to a suspected rockfall off the West Coast of Africa, are now officially in progress.
The cable laying ship, Léon Thévenin, set sail from Cape Town earlier this month, fully equipped with the necessary resources and expertise to address the cable breaks.
We are pleased to let you know that the restoration work on both the WACs and SAT-3 cables is progressing well.
At HUGE TNS, we are lucky to work with upstream providers who use alternative routes and have resilience built into their networks. This has allowed us to operate normally. However, repairing both cables will relieve those who have been experiencing lag in their internet connection.
Should you require any more information or clarity on this matter please do not hesitate to contact your account manager at HUGE TNS.
